Here's what it means to become a volunteer Working Group member with ORFA:

• We meet online once a month to review, plan, share new findings, and discuss key opportunities

• We participate in one of the following sub-groups: Strategy - Research - Communications 

• We take on tasks and reach out to our networks based on individual ability and availability

• We support each other in preparing for interactions with media or political leaders/groups

• We manage and control a significant collection of documentation related to current and historic management of the Ottawa River and other waterways

• We lean on each other in executing tasks such as launching the website and managing communications

• We don't fundraise or lobby, we are neutral politically and we operate in both Ontario and Quebec
